SHORE members award ANID projects

Recently, two researchers of the SHORE project were awarded prestigious projects by ANID (Agencia Nacional de Investigación y Desarrollo).

On January 31 2025, Luis Jiménez won the National PhD Scholarship to carry out his studies in the PhD of Electrical Engineering at the University of Chile, which he will carry out in a double degree agreement with the University of Manchester. His PhD project will start on March 10 2025 and will last till March 10 2029

On March 6 2025, Oscar Cartagena won the Fondecyt Postdoctorate Project N° 3250509, titled «Optimal planning of smart ports based on computational intelligence and evolving systems.» The project starts on April 1 2025 and will continue until March 31 2028.
