Internship at the University of Oviedo

Master’s student Ignacio Ortiz completes a 3-month stay at the University of Oviedo. From September to November of 2024, he was guided by Professors Pablo García, Cristian Blanco and Angel Navarro in the joint project “HIVERED” with TSK Electrónica y Electricidad S.A. In it, Ignacio worked with models and simulations of an off-grid hydrogen production plant based on photovoltaic solar panels without short-term energy storage and implemented a control strategy to maintain stability in the system under unfavourable power availability conditions. He hopes his experience encourages other project students to participate in international internships and stay.
